This dynamic role is at the heart of our e-commerce operations, responsible for ensuring that customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently. You will handle a variety of products, utilizing warehouse technology and equipment to fulfill orders promptly. Key responsibilities include picking items from shelves, verifying order accuracy, packaging products securely, and preparing shipments for delivery. We maintain a strong commitment to safety, and all associates must adhere to safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, walking, and standing for extended periods. Excellent organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail are essential to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify product and quantity accuracy against order details.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, scanners) as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Perform tasks involving frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to team goals and productivity targets in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
