Our expanding logistics company in Raleigh, North Carolina, is looking for a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to manage material handling operations within our state-of-the-art distribution center. This critical role involves operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, and a commitment to operational excellence. You will play a key role in receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping processes, ensuring the smooth flow of inventory. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing required PPE.
- Lift and move items as needed to facilitate forklift operations.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret product labels and shipping documents.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
