Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Sort, label, and store inventory in designated areas.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
- Load outbound shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the distribution center.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or operational issues.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse role is preferred.
- Must be physically capable of performing tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts is a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be willing to use required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and inventory management is beneficial.
- A reliable and positive work attitude.
