Responsibilities:
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production areas, or loading docks.
- Load and unload trucks and containers using appropriate equipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated locations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and proficiently.
- Inspect equipment before and after use, reporting any issues.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification.
- Ensure all materials are properly labeled and stored.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Support team members in achieving operational objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Physical ability to perform tasks, including frequent lifting up to 60 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery is required.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be compliant with all safety regulations and the use of PPE.
- Knowledge of basic logistics and inventory management principles.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
