We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our robust logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will ensure that materials are transported safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse, from receiving to storage and staging for shipment. Maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment is also a key responsibility. A strong commitment to safety is paramount; you will be required to adhere strictly to all safety regulations and the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This position requires excellent forklift operation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate placement and securing of goods.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Accurately count and record inventory as it is moved.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts, reporting any issues immediately.
- Assist with receiving and shipping operations as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Follow all warehouse operational guidelines and logistics procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and achieve production targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
