Our rapidly expanding logistics facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia is seeking dedicated Warehouse Associates to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks essential to the efficient operation of our warehouse. This includes receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will work closely with a team to ensure that goods are processed accurately and efficiently, contributing directly to our supply chain success. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are crucial for this role. You will be required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and follow all established safety procedures. This position involves regular lifting of items up to 50 pounds and requires physical stamina for tasks such as standing, walking, and bending throughout your shift. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Positive attitude and commitment to safety.
