We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our distribution center. Responsibilities include reading order tickets, locating merchandise in the warehouse, picking items, and then preparing them for shipment by boxing, labeling, and ensuring they are ready for carrier pickup. This position involves a significant amount of standing, walking, and moderate Lifting of items up to 40 pounds throughout the shift. Safety is a cornerstone of our operations, and all Picker/Packers must adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. We value a strong work ethic and a commitment to accuracy and quality. Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment environment is a plus, but we are eager to train enthusiastic individuals who are ready to contribute to our logistics success. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or scanner.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate PPE during all tasks.
- Participate in inventory checks and stocktaking as needed.
- Contribute to meeting daily shipping goals and maintaining operational flow.
