We are looking for a diligent Material Handler to join our busy logistics center in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. Your duties will include loading and unloading materials, operating hand trucks or forklifts (if certified), and ensuring that materials are transported efficiently and safely throughout the warehouse. You will play a key role in the flow of goods within our facility, supporting both receiving and shipping operations. This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of materials. A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential. We are seeking individuals who are reliable, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Move materials to and from storage areas.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Stack and pile commodities using appropriate equipment.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with stock organization.
- Ensure all materials are handled safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Participate in physical inventory and cycle counting.
- Perform tasks involving frequent lifting, carrying, and manual manipulation of goods.
- Support the overall flow and efficiency of our logistics operations.
