Seeking energetic and reliable Warehouse Workers to join our Atlanta, Georgia team! This position is essential for the smooth functioning of our distribution center, supporting critical logistics operations. You will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, and preparing orders for shipment. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Sort and stock merchandise accurately onto warehouse shelves or designated areas.
- Pick customer orders using pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Assist with loading outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counts.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment as needed.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics principles is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and diligent use of PPE is required.
