Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated areas using proper Material Handling Equipment.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently based on customer requirements.
- Prepare shipments for outgoing delivery, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially those related to Safety and the use of PPE.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely (certification may be required).
- Assist in conducting regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required for motivated individuals.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control systems is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with general logistics processes is beneficial.
Physical Demands:
This role requires significant physical activity, including continuous standing, walking, and moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs). Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching are also necessary. Employees are expected to adhere to all safety protocols, including the correct use of required PPE. The work environment is a typical warehouse setting.
