- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or digital scans.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Package picked items securely for shipping.
- Operate order picking equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies immediately.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure smooth order flow.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking quotas and performance targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending and reaching.
- Capacity for lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to understand order lists.
- Familiarity with logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and meet deadlines.
