We are hiring a Material Handler for our facility in Provo, Utah. This role is integral to our warehouse and logistics operations, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials. You will handle tasks such as receiving, stocking, picking, and preparing materials for shipment. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding high Safety standards. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Transport materials to designated storage areas using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Accurately pick and prepare materials for outbound logistics.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stock counts.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and company policies.
- Ensure proper use and care of warehouse equipment.
- Report any safety hazards or operational issues to supervisors immediately.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety shoes and gloves.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to perform manual tasks including significant Lifting and moving of materials, up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing procedures.
- Basic communication skills.
