Join our thriving logistics team as a Material Handler in Las Vegas, Nevada! We are looking for a reliable individual to manage the movement of materials within our state-of-the-art facility. This role requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail to ensure that inventory is handled safely and efficiently. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving stock to and from storage areas, and preparing materials for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other transport vehicles.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment throughout the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas.
- Ensure all materials are handled according to Safety procedures.
- Inspect equipment before use and report any issues.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toed boots.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role is required.
- Proficiency in operating various types of warehouse equipment.
- Ability to perform demanding physical work, including frequent Lifting of heavy items (up to 60 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions precisely.
