We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves, preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using an order picking list or scanning device.
- Locate products in the warehouse efficiently, ensuring correct item and quantity.
- Perform quality checks on picked items to ensure they meet standards before packing.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and logistics.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet productivity goals.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following guidelines.
