Join our dynamic warehouse team in sunny Orlando, Florida, as a Material Handler. We are looking for motivated individuals to contribute to the efficient flow of goods within our logistics facility. Your responsibilities will encompass loading and unloading shipments, transporting materials using appropriate equipment, and ensuring inventory is organized and stored correctly. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong adherence to safety standards, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our warehouse operations, supporting receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping functions. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (if certified).
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
- Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper Lifting techniques.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to operate manual pallet jacks and hand trucks. Forklift certification is a plus.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to reliability.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Familiarity with basic inventory control.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Basic knowledge of logistics principles.
