Join our dynamic warehouse team in Richmond, Virginia, as a Material Handler! This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods throughout our facility. You will be responsible for handling, storing, and transporting materials using various equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified). Key duties involve loading and unloading trucks, stocking shelves, picking items for outbound shipments, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding all Safety standards. We require the consistent use of appropriate PPE at all times. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and manual Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. As a vital part of our Logistics operations, you will contribute directly to the smooth and timely flow of products, ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Move materials, equipment, and supplies within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles and internal staging areas.
- Receive, put away, and organize inventory items.
- Assist in order picking and preparing shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse role preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and basic inventory procedures.
- Understanding of warehouse Logistics and workplace Safety protocols.
- Willingness to wear required PPE .
