We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in St. Louis, Missouri. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods within the facility. Your primary focus will be on accuracy, speed, and adherence to all safety protocols. The Forklift Operator will be expected to perform pre-operational checks on equipment, maintain a clean and organized work area, and assist with other warehouse duties as needed. Strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting are essential. Experience with various types of forklifts and warehouse management systems is a plus. You will be a key player in our logistics chain, contributing directly to our company's success through your diligent work. Daily tasks will involve loading and unloading trucks, moving palletized goods, and ensuring inventory is stored correctly. Proper use of PPE is mandatory at all times. Requires significant Lifting and physical stamina. This role is central to our Logistics operations and requires a strong commitment to Safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts.
- Accurately track inventory movements.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety regulations.
