This critical role ensures the accurate and timely processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments, acting as a key link in our supply chain and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to upholding strict Safety standards. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving goods, verifying packing slips against received items, inspecting shipments for damage, stocking inventory, preparing orders for shipment, and loading/unloading delivery vehicles. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records, managing warehouse organization, and ensuring all personnel adhere to Safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE. If you possess strong organizational skills, a good work ethic, and experience in a warehouse environment, this is an excellent opportunity. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document all incoming shipments.
- Verify contents against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Identify and report any damaged or missing items.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders accurately.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs and records.
- Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all warehouse staff.
- Coordinate with carriers and internal departments regarding shipments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in using pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting and moving packages.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow all Safety guidelines.
