We are looking for a detail-oriented Order Picker to join our logistics team in Seattle, Washington. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and precision directly impact our shipping accuracy and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include using scanning technology to locate and retrieve items, verifying quantities, and preparing picked items for the packing station. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace safety, and all Order Pickers must adhere to safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, bending, reaching, and walking throughout the warehouse for extended periods. Excellent organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail are essential to ensure order accuracy and minimize errors. You will work in a fast-paced logistics environment, collaborating with team members to meet picking targets and operational goals. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves and storage locations.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Prepare picked items for the packing and shipping stations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Perform tasks involving frequent lifting, typically up to 50 lbs.
- Collaborate with other warehouse associates to ensure efficient workflow.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or equipment issues immediately.
- Meet established picking productivity and accuracy standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse picking role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting, standing, walking, and bending.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the use of PPE.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Basic computer proficiency for using scanning equipment.
