Our Miami, Florida distribution center is seeking proactive and dependable Distribution Center Associates to join our expanding logistics team. In this crucial role, you will be involved in the efficient flow of goods through our facility, performing tasks such as receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE, is essential. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately stock incoming inventory.
- Pick items for customer orders using WMS and other equipment.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy before dispatch.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management, including cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals in logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret warehouse documents and product information.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Must be capable of regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Understanding of fundamental logistics processes.
- A proactive and reliable work ethic.
