This role is fundamental to our warehousing operations, ensuring that materials are received, stored, moved, and prepared for distribution efficiently and safely. Responsibilities include using manual equipment and potentially powered industrial trucks to move stock, load and unload vehicles, and organize inventory in designated areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse safety, excellent physical stamina, and the ability to follow instructions precisely. You will be integral to maintaining an organized and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials.
- Move materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and potentially forklifts (if certified).
- Organize inventory in warehouse racks and designated spaces.
- Prepare materials for shipment or further processing.
- Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and use of PPE.
- Lift and move items up to 60 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including heavy lifting.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
