You will utilize order sheets or scanning devices to locate products and ensure the correct items and quantities are selected. Maintaining a safe work environment is our top priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This role requires good physical stamina, as it involves considerable standing, walking, and frequent lifting of items weighing up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory according to order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Package selected items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Label packages appropriately for transit.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks safely.
- Contribute to overall team productivity and warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
