Join our energetic team as an Order Picker in Omaha, Nebraska! We are looking for dedicated individuals to accurately and efficiently pick customer orders from our warehouse shelves. As an Order Picker, you will be a crucial part of our logistics operation, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. Your responsibilities will include reading order forms, locating items in the warehouse, carefully picking products, and preparing them for packing and shipping. This role requires a keen eye for detail to minimize errors and a strong commitment to productivity. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will be on your feet for most of your shift, requiring comfortable mobility and the capacity for moderate Lifting of items up to 30 pounds. Safety is our top priority, and all Order Pickers must strictly adhere to all warehouse Safety guidelines and use the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. While previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is beneficial, we are happy to train motivated individuals who possess a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret pick lists and order forms.
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves.
- Accurately count and verify picked items.
- Place picked items in designated containers or on carts.
- Adhere to picking routes and optimize efficiency.
- Report any damaged or missing items to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company Safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Contribute to accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
