Job Summary:
Become our Inventory Control Specialist at our key distribution center in Baltimore, Maryland. We are looking for a meticulous and organized individual to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse inventory. In this vital role, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring the integrity of our stock data. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of our logistics operations by ensuring that we have the right products, in the right quantities, available when needed. You will utilize our inventory management system to track stock levels, generate reports, and identify potential issues. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. While not heavily physical, some tasks may involve minor Lifting and moving of items for verification purposes. Safety is a core value, and adherence to all Safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with inventory management software are essential. You will collaborate closely with warehouse staff, purchasing, and sales departments to ensure seamless inventory operations. Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Identify and report on slow-moving or obsolete stock.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the receiving and put-away process to ensure accuracy.
  • Generate inventory reports for management.
  • Ensure proper organization and storage of inventory.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
