We are seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the equipment and infrastructure within our state-of-the-art distribution center. Your expertise will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all warehouse functions, contributing directly to our logistics success. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety and quality. As a Warehouse Technician, you will perform routine inspections, diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, and implement preventative maintenance programs. You will also be involved in minor electrical and plumbing tasks as needed to keep our facility running optimally. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and the specific equipment used in logistics is highly desirable. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving Lifting of materials up to 50 pounds. You will work collaboratively with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to operations. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be key to your success in this demanding yet rewarding position within our fast-paced logistics environment. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests and repairs on warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections.
