Responsibilities
Connect with local business owners (e.g., cafés, barbershops, boutiques, salons) and help them discover easier, smarter ways to take payments and grow their business.
Meet people face-to-face, demo payment systems and point-of-sale devices, and show how they fit each business’s day-to-day reality.
Plan your territory, follow up with interested businesses, and convert conversations into action.
Build relationships to become a familiar and trusted presence in your community.
Apply strong listening, questioning, and relationship-building skills to support merchant success.
Qualifications
Experience in field sales within a B2B environment. Prior self-employment or autonomy in field roles is desirable.
Strong communication and customer-facing transferable skills with a driven, ambitious attitude.
Ability to work autonomously and manage a sales territory effectively.
Compensation and Benefits
Uncapped commission structure with revenue share: 50% of the revenue from payments, hardware, and software sales, plus 25% recurring income for up to five years.
First-year earning potential: you can earn up to 75% of SumUp’s net revenue in your first year.
