About the Role
The Field Supervisor role is best suited for someone with a hands-on leadership style and a balance of technical expertise and strong communication skills. You'll play a key role in managing daily field operations and ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of our biosolids spreading programs.
- Oversee and coordinate daily field operations, ensuring efficient and compliant execution of biosolids spreading programs.
- Plan, organize, and implement operational strategies to meet project and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise, train, and support Tractor Operators and Field Operators, promoting a strong team culture and safe work practices.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Monitor equipment, materials, and logistics to maintain smooth field operations.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
- Support seasonal operational planning and respond to field challenges as they arise.
About You
- 1-3 years supervisory or managerial experience;
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills, with the ability to motivate and guide field staff effectively.
- Familiarity with agricultural equipment and dragline systems considered a strong asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure clear, confident interaction with team members, management, and stakeholders.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges and make informed decisions in real time.
- Proven commitment to safety, with the ability to model and enforce safe work practices.
- Proactive and improvement-oriented mindset, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing conditions, weather, and operational demands.
