Test Manager (ERP) - Infor LN ROLE PROFILE Role Profile: Test Manager (ERP) . Adopting an Agile approach that enables us to adapt quickly and respond effectively, we take pride in delighting our clients through the consistent delivery of testing solutions, QA services, and specialist QA resources. We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to join a group of exceptionally talented and passionate individuals and contribute towards our continued success. In this role you will be responsible for defining, leading, and executing the end-to-end test strategy for the implementation of an ERP solution. The role will have specific accountability for assuring the quality of an ERP landscape. The role will ensure that the solution is fully tested, compliant with regulatory standards, and fit for purpose across complex manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and quality processes. The Test Manager will work closely with business stakeholders, system integrators, and third-party vendors to ensure a controlled, risk-based approach to testing that supports a safe, on-time, and high-quality ERP deployment. Key Responsibilities Test Strategy & Governance • Define and own the overall ERP test strategy, aligned to programme objectives and regulatory requirements • Establish test governance, standards, processes, and tooling across the programme. • Develop a risk-based testing approach covering functional, integration, regression, data migration, performance, security, and user acceptance testing. • Ensure full traceability between business requirements, design, test scenarios, and defects. Test Planning & Delivery • Create and maintain detailed test plans, test schedules, and resource plans across all test phases. • Manage all ERP test cycles including: o System Integration Testing (SIT) o End-to-End Process Testing o Data Migration & Reconciliation Testing o User Acceptance Testing (UAT) o Cutover and Go-Live Readiness Testing • Coordinate test execution across internal teams, system integrators, and third-party suppliers. • Ensure test environments and test data are available, controlled, and representative of production. Stakeholder & Vendor Management • Act as the primary test interface between business functions, IT, and the implementation partner. • Engage with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality, finance, and programme teams to validate test coverage. • Provide clear test status reporting, defect metrics, and risk assessments to programme leadership. • Challenge suppliers constructively to ensure quality outcomes and adherence to agreed standards. Defect & Quality Management • Define and operate defect management processes, including triage, prioritisation, and resolution tracking. • Ensure defects are assessed for business and regulatory impact. • Drive quality gates and exit criteria for each test phase. • Support go/no-go decisions with evidence-based recommendations. Key Skills & Experience Essential • Proven experience as a Test Manager on large-scale ERP implementations. • Experience delivering ERP systems within complex regulated manufacturing environments. • Deep understanding of end-to-end ERP processes including manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and quality. • Strong knowledge of structured test methodologies and quality assurance frameworks. • Experience managing third-party system integrators and offshore/onshore test teams. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. • Strong understanding of configuration-led design and the impact on test strategy and coverage. • Experience testing integrations, workflows, and reporting within a complex enterprise landscape. Desirable • Experience with data migration testing and reconciliation for legacy ERP replacements. • Knowledge of test management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, JIRA/Xray, HP ALM, Tricentis). • Exposure to automated testing approaches in ERP programmes.
