Overview Field Sales Representative - Uncapped Commission Only role. As a Self-Employed Field Sales Representative, you're a trusted partner for small businesses. We are seeking sales individuals with field sales experience in a B2B environment to join our Field Sales Team as a Field Sales Representative. Earn uncapped commission while building genuine relationships with local entrepreneurs and helping them grow with SumUp's innovative products. You will receive comprehensive training, tools, and support to help you succeed.
Responsibilities
Connect with local business owners (e.g., cafés, barbershops, boutiques, salons) and help them discover easier, smarter ways to take payments and grow their business.
Meet people face-to-face, demo payment systems and point-of-sale devices, and show how they fit each business’s day-to-day reality.
Plan your territory, follow up with interested businesses, and convert conversations into action.
Build relationships to become a familiar and trusted presence in your community.
Apply strong listening, questioning, and relationship-building skills to support merchant success.
Qualifications
Experience in field sales within a B2B environment. Prior self-employment or autonomy in field roles is desirable.
Strong communication and customer-facing transferable skills with a driven, ambitious attitude.
Ability to work autonomously and manage a sales territory effectively.
Compensation and Benefits
Uncapped commission structure with revenue share: 50% of the revenue from payments, hardware, and software sales, plus 25% recurring income for up to five years.
First-year earning potential: you can earn up to 75% of SumUp’s net revenue in your first year.
