Position: Nursing Manager

Salary: $75,000-$90,000

Duties & Responsibilities:
As an Nursing Manager, you will:

• Assist the DON and ADON in evaluating and directing daily nursing operations in compliance with current regulations.
• Ensure nursing staff adheres to job descriptions and facility policies.
• Handle complaints and grievances, escalating reports to the Director of Nursing Services as necessary.
• Utilize leadership skills to manage the assigned unit effectively.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate staffing for 24/7 nursing care while minimizing overtime and agency usage.
• Implement progressive counseling and recommend disciplinary actions as needed.
• Provide professional guidance and supervision to unit staff.
• Attend committee meetings and participate in quality assurance activities.
• Teach and evaluate nursing skills, ensuring high standards of resident care.
• Oversee the completion of MDS on the unit.
• Develop and implement discharge plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Manage budgets, prepare reports, and participate in staff recruitment.
• Promote a caring atmosphere, respecting residents' needs and rights.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid New Jersey RN/LPN License.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
