Flooring Estimating Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Flooring Estimating Manager to lead a flooring project estimation team. Duties

• Lead and oversee the entire flooring estimating process from initial inquiry to final bid submission, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Utilize industry-standard estimating software--RFMS and Measure --to prepare detailed project bids, including material costs, labor estimates, and project timelines.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, procurement teams, and clients to develop comprehensive project scopes and pricing strategies.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, verify measurements, and gather critical data for precise estimates.
• Implement cost control measures throughout the estimating process to maximize profitability without compromising quality or safety.
• Review contractual documents and construction plans to identify potential risks or discrepancies that could impact project costs or timelines.
• Maintain detailed records of all estimates, contracts, and project documentation for future reference and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on flooring projects; familiarity with residential construction required.
• Strong proficiency in RFMS and Measure estimating software required
• Demonstrated team development and management experience
• Deep understanding of construction estimating principles, cost control strategies, and pricing methodologies.
• Hands-on construction site experience that provides insight into on-the-ground project execution.
• Knowledge of construction management practices, contract administration, and project management tools.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contractual documents accurately.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of managing multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Pay: $70, $100,000.00 per year

• Flooring Estimating: 3 years (Required)
• RFMS and Measure software: 2 years (Required)
