HR Generalist

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support our client's HR team during a maternity leave coverage period. This 6-month assignment will focus on employee relations support, conducting investigations, and handling core HR generalist responsibilities. The ideal candidate has a strong background in employee relations, performance issue investigations, and familiarity with HR systems—preferably ADP.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, timely investigations into employee performance issues and workplace concerns.
• Partner with HR leadership to provide guidance on employee relations matters, documentation, and resolution strategies.
• Support general HR functions, including onboarding, offboarding, policy interpretation, and compliance tasks.
• Process employee status changes, updates, and transactions within the ADP HR system.
• Assist in maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring HR data integrity.
• Collaborate with managers to address HR inquiries and support best practices across the employee lifecycle.
• Provide interim support on various HR projects and initiatives as needed during coverage period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources.
• 3+ years of HR Generalist or Employee Relations experience.
• Demonstrated experience conducting investigations into employee performance or conduct issues required.
• Working knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Experience using ADP or a similar HRIS platform.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Pay

• $40.00-$45.00/hr
