AirWatch Engineer

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer the existing VMware Workspace ONE (AirWatch) platform, including device enrollment, policy configuration, and compliance monitoring
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for mobile device issues across iOS, Android, and Windows platforms
• Manage cellular activations and vendor portals (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile)
• Collaborate with security teams to align mobile policies with organizational standards
• Monitor system performance, generate reports, and implement improvements
• Assist in planning and executing the migration from AirWatch to Microsoft Intune
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in endpoint management

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with VMware Workspace ONE / AirWatch administration
• 2+ years working with AirWatch MDM software, mobile OS platforms, and enterprise mobility architecture
• 2+ years of experience with cellular activations on vendor portals (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile)
• 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with Intune deployment or migration projects
• Microsoft certifications (MD-102, SC-300, AZ-104)
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and conditional access policies
• PowerShell scripting or automation experience

Education & Certifications You Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant Microsoft certifications preferred

Final compensation is determined based on skill alignment, years of experience, and fair, market-based rates by geography.
