Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in planning and executing engaging activities tailored to infants' developmental stages.
- Provide attentive infant care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring safety at all times.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Observe and document infants' progress and behaviors to inform individualized care plans.
- Foster positive interactions with children to promote social-emotional development and secure attachments.
- Follow all health and safety protocols diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent caregiving practices and effective communication with families.
Skills
- Experience working with infants or toddlers in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar settings.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to early childhood education and infant care.
- Strong classroom management skills to support structured routines and behavior management strategies.
- Ability to respond swiftly and effectively in emergency situations using first aid skills.
- Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills for interacting with children, families, and team members.
- Familiarity with special education needs and working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a nurturing environment while adhering to health regulations and safety standards.
