Join the Seawah Furniture Team — Sales Associate or Interior Designer
Seawah Furniture is growing, and we're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team member to help us in our beautiful showroom on Johns Island.
Position Highlights:
- Employment Type: Part-time or Full-time
- Pay: Competitive; based on experience and part-time vs. full-time status
- Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM (4:00 PM on Friday & Saturday), approximately 25–40 hours per week
- Location: In-person at our showroom in Johns Island, SC
What You'll Be Doing:
- Welcoming and assisting customers in our showroom with a friendly, professional approach
- Guiding customers through furniture selections, product details, and ordering options
- In-home design consultations and interior design layouts (if relevant to your experience and hiring agreement)
- Entering customer orders and updating information accurately in our system
- Maintaining the appearance of the showroom, including merchandising, staging, and organization
- Coordinating with the warehouse team regarding inventory, deliveries, and customer pick-ups
- Assisting with occasional furniture movement or light assembly within the showroom as needed
- Supporting showroom operations to ensure a smooth, high-quality customer experience
What We're Looking For:
- A professional, organized individual who can work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Previous retail or furniture sales experience preferred (but not required)
- Previous interior design experience preferred (but not required)
- Comfort using basic computer systems for order entry and customer records
- Ability to assist with light lifting or moving of furniture when needed
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Johns Island (or plans to relocate before starting)
