Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and resident relations.
- Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained communities.
- Conduct property tours, lease negotiations, and upselling of available units to prospective tenants.
- Maintain accurate data entry and filing of tenant records, contracts, and legal documentation using Appfolio software.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, and other legal administrative requirements.
- Handle conflict management with residents or vendors professionally and efficiently.
- Assist with legal administrative tasks such as lease agreements, contract review, and landlord-tenant law adherence.
- Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and fostering positive tenant relationships.
- Monitor property conditions and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Engage in sales activities to promote available units and enhance occupancy rates through effective customer relationship management.
- Real Estate Sales.
- Must be a member for the MLS.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team atmosphere.
Experience
- Prior experience in property management or real estate administrative roles is highly preferred. But not required. Willing to train the right candidate.
- Knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs, Section 8 housing vouchers, and Fair Housing regulations is essential.
- Proficiency with Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software is required.
- Demonstrated experience with legal administrative processes related to leases, contracts, and landlord-tenant law.
- Strong background in customer service, conflict resolution, negotiation, and upselling techniques.
- Office experience involving data entry, filing systems, and facilities management tools such as CMMS.
- Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle sensitive situations diplomatically.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. This role offers an engaging environment where your skills will directly contribute to vibrant community living while advancing your career in property management
