Modular Comfort Systems, an HVAC company in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Parts and Warehouse Associate. The ideal candidate will work with customers who utilize our Parts Department and provide warehouse support to our facility. The key responsibilities will be ship and receive freight and assist parts and aftermarket equipment departments. to keep warehouse organized This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responds to requests from customers regarding aftermarket parts pricing, orders and availability

Keeps track of all quotes in company specific software

Enter orders ensuring correct contact person, billing and shipping addresses, Purchase Order number and tax information

Save all related information in specified drive using correct format

Follow up to ensure parts and/or equipment is ordered and shipped on time

Use company agreed markups and discretion on price levels upon approval from group manager

Maintain inventory levels ensuring physical counts match computer listed amounts

Maintain appropriate inventory levels as needed due to customer use and demand

Ship and receive parts, packages and freight by coordinating with various shipping companies, vendors and customers.

Load and unload vendor or customer deliveries and/or pickups

Ensure all delivery and/or pickup paperwork is scanned into correct project file to coordinate billing

Submit Warranty and damage claims for damaged equipment, accessories and parts

Place received items in the correct location and notify appropriate personnel of arrival

Prepare orders placed by intracompany personnel

Provide support to department personnel

Operate forklift or pallet jack in a safe manner

Office/Warehouse/Parking Lot Garbage and Scrap Management

Parking Lot maintenance which includes snow removal, debris from doors, loading dock area

Qualification Standards

Associate degree in Business or related field preferred

NYS Driver License free of infractions

Forklift certification required

Warehouse and driving experience a plus

Must be able to take direction, also work independently

Ability to solve problems

Detail oriented

Ability to organize and prepare paperwork associated with orders

Computer literate & familiarity with office equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay is negotiable depending on experience
