Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a DEDICATED & RELIABLE Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods while also assisting in warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, experience in delivery driving, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck for deliveries, ensuring communication & timely arrival at designated locations.
• Load and unload goods from box truck, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as necessary.
• Follow established delivery routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and boss during deliveries.
• Assist with warehouse duties, including inventory management and organization of stock.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Handle heavy lifting and moving of products as required, maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is essential.
• Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, including knowledge of loading/unloading procedures.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Capability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
• Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous but not mandatory.
