Shuttle Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Shuttle Driver to operate vehicles for transporting passengers safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in shuttle driving, commercial driving, or bus driving, with a strong focus on customer service and safety protocols. This role involves providing timely transportation services while maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness. The Shuttle Driver will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for all passengers and supporting the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate shuttle buses, vans, or other commercial vehicles to transport passengers to designated locations.
• Ensure adherence to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during each trip.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service throughout the journey.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness.
• Manage scheduling and coordinate routes efficiently to meet passenger needs.
• Handle heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading luggage or equipment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and passengers to provide updates or address concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle condition.

Skills

• Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or similar roles such as limousine or school bus driving.
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when required and handle maintenance tasks related to vehicle upkeep.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and vehicle operation standards for commercial drivers.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., driver license).
• Experience with paratransit services or specialized transportation is a plus.
• Ability to maintain focus during long shifts and manage routes efficiently under time constraints.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
