After School Group Leader

Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as an afterschool teacher. As an afterschool teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for children. This is a paid position that offers valuable experience working with children and the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives.

Hours 1:30-6:30 Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with students during daily activities, including games, arts and crafts.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
- Provide guidance and support to teachers, promoting positive behavior and social interaction
- Collaborate with other teachers to create a positive and inclusive environment
- Monitor students progress and communicate with parents/guardians as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization

-Able to drive center vehicles for bus runs/field trips

Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in a theater, childcare, or educational setting
- First aid certification preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and provide individualized support
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children
