Warehouse Manager

Job Summary:

Action is a rapidly growing fuze production company looking for a detail oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations and create a positive and collaborative work environment while providing leadership and guidance to their team.

Job Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage a team of warehouse associates, providing training, mentorship and performance evaluations

· Implement and optimize warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve service levels

· Oversee the receipt, storage and distribution of product ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies

· Utilize warehouse management system (WinMfg) for inventory tracking and reporting ensuring data accuracy

· Oversee the creation of the Bill of Lading, shipping documents, overseas, air and water shipping compliance, and hazard documents for explosives

· Work with production supervisors to anticipate needs as programs change, and as we navigate quickly changing production lines and jobs

· Maintain daily production logs for inbound and outbound shipments

· Onboarding of new employees by instructing/training to the proper safety procedures, job expectations and training on diversified equipment

· Oversee and manage the end of year physical inventory process.

Education & Qualification Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent is required. Some college education is preferred but not required.

· Minimum two (2) years experience supervising in a shipping and receiving environment

· Previous experience in inventory health and understanding of physical inventory

· Ability to research transactions in the event of any discrepancies

· Ability to communicate effectively and professionally via email, phone and in person

· Experience working with hazardous materials/substances is a plus.
