Summary

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will be essential in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in various settings, including group homes and assisted living facilities. Reporting to the program manager, your core responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities (ADLs), patient observation, and ensuring a safe and clean environment. Your premium skills in first aid, cooking, and patient care will enhance the quality of life for those you support. With a focus on long-term care and social work, you will contribute significantly to fostering independence and dignity for each individual.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and support to individuals with disabilities in a group home setting.
• Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Observe and document patients' conditions, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote their well-being and independence.
