Veterinary Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This role involves assisting in the daily operations of the veterinary clinic, ensuring the well-being of animals, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures, including animal restraint and medication administration.
• Provide basic care for animals, including feeding, bathing, and walking.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including outside areas
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, medications, and medical histories.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their animals' health and treatment plans.
• Monitor animal behavior and health status, reporting any concerns to the veterinary staff.
• Support front desk operations by greeting clients, answering phones, and managing records.

Qualifications

• We will provide all the training that you need, however, knowledge of basic veterinary practices is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to providing high-quality care for animals.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
