POSITION TITLE: Project Manager
DEPARTMENT: Production/Operations
FLSA Status: Exempt
BPI Outdoor Living is seeking a career minded and goal-oriented individual that is eager to learn and advance in our growing company. This position will play a key role in delivering an exceptional experience to our clients while upholding our Core Values, Vision and Mission.
As a project manager you will be a valuable and key member of the team. This position will include a multitude of tasks that will require excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, sense of urgency, superb organization and efficient multi-tasking abilities.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to) :
- Exceptional client interfacing and relationship building
- Ownership of project scope, budget, timing, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout the build process
- Continuous improvement of processes and tooling
- Conducting regular team meetings and attending weekly operations meetings
- Project team leadership (internal crews, subcontractors, vendors, etc.)
- Job site safety, cleanliness, and professionalism
- Management of punch lists, change orders, and collection of client payments
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Manage the day-to-day progress of projects from initial planning through final completion
- Create, track, and monitor detailed project plans
- Create weekly progress reports and additional progress documentation as requested
- Maintains a premium client experience, including updates, walkthrough coordination, and timely responses to client questions
- Works in a collaborative fashion to support all team members including internal and external resources
- Able to communicate with clarity and respect with clients, subcontractors, vendors and colleagues
- Conduct frequent job-site visits across various locations throughout the Indianapolis metro area, to monitor progress, quality, and craftsmanship.
- Identify and escalate potential delays, site challenges, or design discrepancies unique to custom builds
- Oversees budget tracking and financial reporting for assigned projects
QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic, and self-motivated, a "Go-getter" mentality
- Attitude of Ownership
- Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional client experiences
- Willingness to learn
- 1-2+ years of Project Management experience preferred
- Proficient in computer and mobile device use including Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (MS Project, Buildertrend, Smartsheets, or similar preferred)
- High school diploma (college degree in Construction Management or similar trade preferred)
- Team Player
- Ability to travel to job sites; valid driver's license required.

Pay: $65, $95,000.00 per year
