Overview
We are seeking an experienced Middleware Administrator with strong expertise in middle-tier technologies and server administration. The ideal candidate will be proficient in at least two of the following areas: Middle Tier Administration, Unix/Linux Administration, or Windows Server Administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and administer middleware platforms: web/app servers, containers, messaging technologies, cloud services, automation tools, and monitoring tools.
- Provide day-to-day support for Unix, Linux, and Windows environments including performance tuning, capacity planning, and incident response.
- Lead troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation across distributed server, database, and middleware environments.
- Manage incidents and changes using ServiceNow, ensuring adherence to client SLAs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, client staff, and vendors to deliver technical solutions and drive outcomes.
- Develop operational procedures, disaster recovery plans, and proactive monitoring strategies.
- Assist development teams with deployments, testing, and environment support.
- Maintain inventory, documentation, and system configuration records.
- Provide training, knowledge-sharing, and mentorship to other administrators.
Required Skills & Technologies
Proficiency in two or more of the following:
- Middle Tier Technologies: Apache Tomcat, WildFly, OFM, WebSphere, Apache HTTP, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, IBM MQ, Kafka, Zookeeper, Ansible, GCP, Azure, AppDynamics, Splunk, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Neustar, Linux/PowerShell/Jython scripting.
- Unix/Linux Administration: Large-scale multi-datacenter environments, ESX virtualization, performance troubleshooting, vendor coordination, independent issue resolution.
- Windows Server Administration: Complex problem-solving, ESX environment support, installations, configurations, and mentoring responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100, $130,000.00 per year
