Line Cook

WORLD FAMOUS HOTBOYS CHICKEN are looking for someone to help carry out what we do best -- make amazing fried chicken, served in a fast-paced, community driven environment.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DAYTIME Cook/Food Prep  to join our team and prepare high-quality dishes for our guests. The candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking, and presenting dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing and chopping ingredients
• Cook and present dishes according to menu specifications, including following recipes and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and utensils and maintaining inventory levels
• Communicate effectively with other team members, including the kitchen staff and management
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 year of kitchen experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk and stay on his/her feet for prolonged periods of time
• Lift up to 75 pounds at a given time
• Be able to perform the repetitive task of line cooking which requires repetitive motion with a spatula, knife, and hand-motion for mixing on an on-going basis

Pay:

• $11 TO $14 PLUS TIPS
