Night/overnight Cleaning Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Night/Oversight Cleaning Supervisor to lead our overnight cleaning team. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our facilities during nighttime hours. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive janitorial and custodial experience, and a background in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management. This position offers an opportunity to oversee commercial cleaning operations, supervise staff, and ensure high standards of cleanliness are consistently met.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nightly cleaning activities across all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, and common spaces.
• Lead a team of cleaning staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operations.
• Conduct quality inspections to verify that cleaning standards meet company policies and client expectations.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment.
• Schedule shifts for cleaning staff, monitor attendance, and address any staffing issues promptly.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations during all cleaning activities.
• Handle customer or client inquiries related to cleaning services and resolve issues as they arise.
• Maintain detailed records of completed tasks, supply usage, and team performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles, with a strong background in commercial cleaning or hospitality housekeeping management.
• Supervising experience is essential; previous leadership roles in hotel or hospitality settings are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including laundry services, custodial procedures, and general housekeeping standards.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively during overnight shifts.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with staff and address client needs professionally.
