Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Delhi, New York, for an experienced Senior Litigation Associate. The candidate will handle complex litigation and arbitration matters, provide legal advice to clients, and assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, preparing case strategies, representing clients before courts and tribunals, and collaborating with the firm's team to deliver high-quality legal services.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in litigation, dispute resolution, and arbitration, especially in areas like corporate law, commercial disputes, employment law, and insolvency.
- Advanced legal research and analytical skills to prepare comprehensive case strategies and solutions.
- Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and agreements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present cases effectively in court or arbitration settings.
- Experience working in teams with a collaborative and client-focused approach.
- Adherence to professional ethics and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized institution; an advanced law degree is a plus.
- Membership with a Bar Council and eligibility to practice law in India. Familiarity with laws in other jurisdictions is advantageous.
