For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $66,000 - $99,000 per year, which

includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United

States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within

the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, jobrelated skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a

comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward

points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits)

flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including

The position of Product Configuration Developer will leverage technical product knowledge and software development skills while coordinating with cross-functional teams composed of Marketing, Engineering, Global Supply Chain to develop product configuration outputs for use in sales and engineering processes.

Responsibilities

  • Understand product offer scope and engineering constraints and apply them in product models using Schneider Electric Product Configuration tools.
  • Develop rule based product configurator logic and corresponding user interface.
  • Develop and maintain product configurator logic to create the various required Engineering and Sales outputs.
  • Develop and maintain programming logic using C++ programming skills
  • Troubleshoot and test outputs to improve quality per customer and offer requirements.
  • Continuously seek process improvement and efficiency opportunities.
  • Address production issues in a timely manner.
  • Work in an agile environment to deliver on key business projects.

Qualifications

Required skills

  • Bachelor of Science in EE, ME, or Computer Science
  • Experience in C++ programming
  • 3+  years of experience in I-Line Busway, Low and/or Medium Voltage Equipment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Solid and pragmatic problem-solving skills
  • Well organized, detail oriented and self-motivated

Desired skills

  • Project management/leadership skills to develop and manage tasks to support multiple projects at once.
  • Understanding of the Engineered to Order business processes and applications
  • Experience using Schneider Electric ACE configurator content development and testing tools
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies
  • Basic understanding and/or experience in software development
