*Location:* North Denver / Thornton/Westminster (Hybrid — Tue–Thu in office)
*Contract Length:* 24 months+extensions
We are looking for a *Senior IT Project / Program Manager* who knows how to take ownership and drive work forward—not just talk about it.
This role is responsible for leading several enterprise IT initiatives from planning through execution. You will be expected to build real project plans, keep teams aligned, manage vendors, and provide clear visibility into progress and risks. If you enjoy structure, accountability, and seeing projects actually get delivered, this role will be a good fit.
*What You’ll Be Doing*
* Own multiple IT initiatives from start to finish
* Create and maintain project charters, schedules, and delivery plans
* Build realistic project schedules with dependencies and assigned resources
* Lead daily and weekly project meetings and keep teams aligned
* Coordinate internal teams and external/offshore vendors
* Track progress, surface risks early, and drive issues to resolution
* Provide clear, concise updates to stakeholders and leadership
* Ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet expectations
*What We’re Looking For*
* 8+ years of experience managing IT projects or programs
* Proven experience delivering infrastructure, cybersecurity, and/or data & analytics projects
* Strong project planning and scheduling skills (not just templates)
* Experience managing vendors and distributed or offshore teams
* Comfortable running meetings, following up on action items, and holding teams accountable
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Tools & Environment*
* Project scheduling and tracking tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar)
* Collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
* Enterprise IT and PMO environments
